FANTASTIC FISHING

The safe catch and release of a 32lb salmon has been recognised with one of the greatest prizes in fly-fishing. The Malloch Challenge trophy was awarded to Andy Britton for his feat at Bemersyde House in the Scottish Borders. Andy, from Braidwood, Lanarkshire, caught the fish on 11 August 2020 at Tweedmill Beat, which also qualified him to win the Bemersyde Trophy for the largest and best-caught fish on the fly on the Tweed that year.
