A bright idea...
Edinburgh’s Holyrood Distillery have launched a new gin inspired by, wait for it… whisky! Drawing on the idea that the myriad flavours of whisky rely on just a handful of ingredients, Height of Arrows is stripped back to its core ingredient, juniper. The gin’s name is the literal translation of ArdNa-Said, or Arthur’s seat, which provides a backdrop to the distillery. Standing at 251m, the height of Arthur’s Seat is said to be the furthest distance an archer could fire an arrow. www.holyrooddistillery.co.uk
