Predator patrol

-

Scotland's beautiful scenery often makes it impractical to use lamping or night vision equipment when carrying out necessary predator control.

The hilly terrain with dense covering of gorse and tall moorland reed grass as well as forestry and woodland makes it necessary to use an alternative method of control.

Professionally trained scenting hounds are ideally suited to track, search and flush out predators in this type of countryside.

I hope they will be continued to be used in the future for wildlife management in Scotland to protect our ground nesting birds and lambs.
