Where are we?
This leafy suburb in Southern Ayrshire was the birthplace of Robert Burns, The Bard, who was born in 1759. It lies just 2.5 miles south of Ayr and is home to The Robert Burns Birthplace Museum, as well as the Burns Monument and Memorial Gardens. The village’s 15thcentury Brig O’Doon was made famous by Burns’ Tam O Shanter.
