Lindsay Burns & Company had a four-day sale, which played host to a broad selection of three centuries of Scottish furniture and fine art, with online and telephone bidding. A very rare 18th-century Scottish Provincial high-backed armchair reached a final price of £2,820. A late 18th/early 19th-century carved wooden figure of a Highlander, which sold in 2017 when they offered the Rattray collection of the famed Perth tobacconist shop, did not disappoint again when it sold for £8,160. www.lindsayburns.co.uk
