Hippfest in the running for national award

HippFest 2021, the Hippodrome Silent Film Festival’s first online edition, has been shortlisted for Best Arts Project in the National Campaign for the Arts’ Hearts for the Arts Awards 2022. Falkirk Community Trust has been nominated for Best Arts Project. HippFest is Scotland’s first and only commissioning and showcase festival for silent film and live music, based in Bo’ness. The awards celebrate the unsung heroes of local authorities who are championing the arts against all odds, with Falkirk Council being the only local authority within Scotland to be recognised. www.hippfest.co.uk
