At the historic Globe Inn in Dumfries, just a few miles up the road from Annandale Distillery, you can be sure of a warm welcome and fine dining in elegant surroundings. One of the oldest inns in Scotland, dating back to 1610, it was the favourite haunt of Scotland’s national bard Robert Burns, who lived, loved and entertained there. Start the tasting journey with our peated and unpeated Rascally Liquor New Make Spirit, before moving onto our Single Cask Single Malt whiskies, Man O’Words and Man O’Sword along with our blended whiskies. The Globe Inn is also the home of unforgettable fine dining experiences, with menus created by a team of award-winning Michelin-experienced chefs, and an enviable drinks collection, including more than 200 whiskies, local beers and fine wines. A warm welcome awaits you at the Maltings Coffee Shop, delivering freshly prepared hot and cold menu options including divine two-course Afternoon Teas using only the finest local Scottish produce.
