Ardoch Loch Lomond

Ardoch Loch Lomond – one of the most unique exclusive use venues in Scotland, located in a truly stunning setting – is now open for business and welcoming new bookings

-

Nestled near Gartocharn village in a spectacular National Park setting, this beautiful venue was gifted to Children’s Hospices Across Scotland (CHAS) in 2020 for use as a profit with purpose venue and destination of choice for special events.

With 133 acres of private countryside, spectacular views and an abundance of fresh air and welcoming, open spaces inside and out, Ardoch is the ideal base for any event, whether that be a business product launch, a team-building break, an activity retreat or a celebration.

For special occasions such as weddings and anniversaries, guests can enjoy exclusive use of 18 bedrooms for up to 33 people surrounded by 133 acres of rolling countryside and woodland with stunning views overlooking Ardoch’s own private lochan.

Event areas hold up to 50 for meetings and dining while catering for up to 120 can also be arranged in the grounds with incredible lochside views.

Uniquely, profits from all bookings go towards CHAS, helping the charity build a sustainable and innovative source of new income, which, in turn, will give many families across Scotland with children with life-shortening conditions opportunities to make the most of their precious time together.

Ardoch Estate’s close proximity to Glasgow, Stirling and Edinburgh, combined with the attractions of Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park also make it an attractive option for exclusive bookings.

Endless leisure and activity possibilities abound here while guests can also relax and immerse themselves in expansive landscapes surrounded by nature, finding the space to breathe, inspire, think, create and connect.

Those who wish to venture a little further afield can explore nearby castles and whisky distilleries, while fantastic shops, restaurants, culture and architecture are only a short drive away.

The breathtaking ‘away from it all’ setting of Ardoch evokes a wonderfully relaxed feeling where everything comes naturally and every angle connects with nature, making it a truly special place for any memorable event or occasion.

General Manager at Ardoch, Peter Cockill said: ‘As an exclusive use venue we can provide whatever level of service guests require for their events, very much operating like a hotel, but only ever looking after one group of customers at a time.’

Director of Fundraising and Communications at CHAS, Iain McAndrew said: ‘We are absolutely delighted to be opening Ardoch up to new bookings such as weddings, celebratory gatherings and business events.

‘Knowing your child may die before you do is the unthinkable reality that thousands of families across Scotland sadly have to cope with every day. Ardoch provides the opportunity to raise the funds needed to reach more families than ever before, allowing guests who book this special venue to connect with CHAS in a very personal way.’
