Lesley Mclaren is a Scottish born painter, living on a beautiful farm in the Scottish Borders. The subject matter of her work reflects her environmen­t - animals, birds, landscape and flowers. ‘In Scotland, the landscape and light is beautiful and varied - a rich source of inspiratio­n, from Belted Galloway cattle to Scottish Blackface sheep, barn owls to wrens and the beautiful flowers in my garden.
