RRP: £649.95

With autumn upon us and winter on its way, it is time to hang up your summer gear and return to wearing surface drysuits.

Dressing for immersion is vital as the sea temperature drops.

For paddlers in the market for a new drysuit, Typhoon has unveiled its new 2019 range. With a 70-year history of producing premium products for both the leisure and commercial markets, Typhoon is one of the leading choices among kayak anglers since the launch of the Multisport Pro a decade ago.

Building on the previous successes of the PS220 and PS330 drysuits, which were designed for serious expedition use in extreme conditions (and were superb for winter cod fishing at anchor in the North Sea), Typhoon has produced the new Multisport SK (left), the ultimate sea kayaking drysuit for ocean, offshore and coastal protection and performance.

Featuring a fully adjustable storm hood, smooth non-chafing GlideSkin fleece-lined storm neck seal, latex wrist seals and an easy-donning hinge entry system, this suit also features low maintenance Aquaseal zips and fully taped fabric socks.

Safety features include hi-vis glass bead wrist prints and reflective hood tape, while easy-access chest pockets are positioned to work with a buoyancy aid.

Packaged within a fully breathable suit, the Multisport

SK gives the wearer full protection on even the most serious kayak fishing session.

Its fully articulated arms, legs and body will ensure your comfort for long or short voyages. Internal braces and a waterproof ergonomic hood all add to the Multisport SK’s exceptional comfort level.

TYPHOON HYPERCURVE

The other suit to be unveiled is the new-look Hypercurve (right) drysuit, which uses a shaped 3D panel to integrate the plastic PU zip into the back of the suit. This innovation ensures a superior fit and easy self-donning experience. Price to be advised. ■ For more information, visit: www.typhoon-int.co.uk
