SEA ANGLER HAS TEAMED up with leading tackle company Akios to offer you the chance to win a fantastic boat rod prize worth £69.99. We’ve got six of the superb 12/15lb-class versions of the Akios Nano-Tech Sport boat rods to give away in this contest. They’ll be one each for the six lucky winners.
Well known for innovative, functional, high quality and good value shore rods and reels developed for anglers by anglers, the Akios ‘Radical Anglers’ team has come up with three new ranges of boat rods, all of which should stand out from the crowd.
Our prizes are part of the new range of Nano-Tech Sport action light boat rods, which are all 7ft (2.15 metres) long. They come in a two-piece format with the longer tip pushing into the butt section just above the EVA grip.
The three lightweight models in the category are 6/10lb-class, 12/15lb and the heavier-actioned 15/20lb. All offer exciting sport, ultimate sensitivity and a superbly sporting progressive action.
Like many Akios rods, these Nano-Tech Sport versions feature the power band system (PBS), which is a concept of adding carbon fibre reinforced bands to the butt area of the blank to produce extra fighting power. The PBS in the nano carbon blank creates balance and feel, together with progressive power reserves.
All models, which have a classy finish, are fitted with Seaguide Guides, suitable for mono or braid, screw-locking reel seats and ergonomic EVA handle grips. The rods comes in an Akios rod bag.
