Housekeeping horrors

Many Brits are not adverse to enjoying a drink on holiday, and, according to lastminute.com, they start their daily boozing earlier than other Europeans. But the same research also shows that when it comes to questionable holiday habits, a morning cocktail might have other implications. Of those asked, 63% were 'not bothered' if their room was 'left in a state' for housekeeping and 57% 'never make the bed' before they leave.

The survey also revealed that men and women find different things embarrassing while abroad: women cited 'accidental nudity' and 'blocking the toilet' as most cringeworthy, while for men 'falling over by the pool' and 'getting sunburnt' were top of the list.
