Do the Haka with NZ

THE Tourism New Zealand team hosted its key UK and Ger­man trade part­ners for an evening of New Zealand hos­pi­tal­ity, food and wine. The event, held at Lon­don's Royal Academy, cel­e­brated the open­ing of the new 'Ocea­nia' ex­hi­bi­tion. Guests were treated to a pri­vate tour of the gallery along with a show-stop­ping Haka per­for­mance by Manaia, a Maori cul­tural group.


Su­per din­ner prize

THE team at Newell’s Travel in Newquay was awarded a £50 restau­rant card by Su­per Break. It won an in­cen­tive be­tween all 11 Newell’s Travel branches to see who could make the most book­ings on the op­er­a­tor’s Ice­land char­ter break, di­rect from Newquay. BOURNE Leisure, Hosea­sons and This is Shear­ings thanked key mem­bers of the UK trade in Seville for the ABTA con­fer­ence with a rooftop net­work­ing event at Ho­tel Inglaterra.

EIGHT UK agents en­joyed a tour of Nova Sco­tia with Axis Travel Mar­ket­ing. They vis­ited Hal­i­fax, Lunen­burg, Digby and Cape Bre­ton.
