Gozo
Malta’s sister island is just a short ferry ride away and great for a day trip away from the busy main island. It’s Mediterranean houses are full of character and the island is serviced regularly by buses.
Valletta
The walkable Valletta is made for a day of exploring. Start the day with a coffee in the main square, catch the gunfire at noon and get lost in the maze of balconies that make up the streets of this city.
Comino
The main draw of this small island is the fabulous Blue Lagoon. It’s well worth a visit as long as you can skip the crowds and arrive prepared as there is little shade. In winter it is far less busy. Mdina, with its medieval walls and museums, is Malta’s original capital. Gameof

Ramla l-Hamra
Ramla l-Hamra is a large beach on Gozo with unusually striking red sands. It can be incorporated as part of a day trip and regular hop-on hop-off buses service the beach throughout the day.
Grand Harbour
Valletta’s Grand Harbour is one of the largest natural harbours in the world. A favourite stop for hundreds of cruise ships, it has been a port since at least the Roman period.
