Advice on stoat traps

In the UK New Zealand’s Department of Conservation (DOC) traps are approved for trapping stoats, weasels, rats and grey squirrels. Stoats are subject to the trap welfare requirements of the Agreement on International Humane Trapping Standards (AIHTS). Fenn traps are to be made illegal to trap stoats and at the time of writing the withdrawal date looks likely to be 1 April 2020 in England and January 2020 in Scotland.
