How much kit to carry

I note that you seem to carry a lot of equipment on The Shooting Show when stalking. Is it all necessary?

I have refined this to the bare minimum. Almost all of my stalking is carried out on foot and often over quite long distances, so whatever I need has to be with me.

I carry an Apex Predator roe sack containing the basic gralloching equipment, a spare knife and emergency first-aid equipment, plus a drag harness. The sack opens and doubles as my method of carrying roe off the hill. I also carry a set of quad sticks, binoculars and the rifle. None of this can be left behind. CD
