IN CONCLUSION

I can’t find fault in the Skellerup Quatro Sport. They seem remarkable quality and value for money, comparing more than favourably with boots twice their price.

The Gateway 1 Sportsman II is a good boot if you are on a budget. However, if you like the brand and can stretch your wallet a bit further, do try their Pheasant Game for size.

The Muck Boot Derwent II is a different fish from the other two. I wouldn’t cast them aside, but the brand has more practical sporting options available. To conclude, I say move aside France, the Kiwis are the new kings of the country.
