Customise your Tikka

I have a Tikka T1X in .22 LR and I love it, but I want to modify the stock to fit my big hands and frame. Do you know if the Tikka add-on accessories such as fore-end and pistol-grip alternatives would be suitable before I spend my money, please?

They definitely would, yes. As you know, both the Tikka T3X centrefire and T1X rimfire rifles were designed to have their stocks altered by the use of removable pistol grips and attachments for additional fore-end profiles, as well as for other accessories, too.

I have a T1X in .17 HMR that I have ‘customised’ because I also have big hands so I added a larger, more upright pistol grip and bigger Varmint-type fore-end that both just slot and screw into place, which makes the T1X even better to handle.

It transforms the Tikka into your own personalised gun as I chose a grey colour to contrast the black stock and other colours are available. I also fitted a larger rubber Tikka bolt knob for even better traction on the bolt in wet weather.
