Ivy reunited with her owner

Ivy, the cocker spaniel who was snatched from the back of a car at the Game Fair, is home. However, the hunt for the thieves who took her continues.

Ivy was stolen while waiting to take part in a gundog demonstration at the Game Fair in

July. Ivy’s owner Garret Marson told Shooting Times: “Eleven weeks ago last Friday, Ivy was taken from our family. Today, myself, Charlotte and my mum want to thank the shooting community from the bottom of our hearts as she’s now home again. Without the constant support, we don’t believe Ivy would have been back so soon, although it was the longest 11 weeks of our lives. After some TLC, she’s getting back to her full strength and is already settled back in; it’s like she’d never left.”

Ivy’s theft is still the subject of an active police investigation and Shooting Times cannot provide details of how she was recovered at this time.
