Whatever brand or design you choose, my one piece of advice is to do your research. For some it boils down to budget, for others it is what’s going to keep them warm, dry and focused, irrespective of cost. If you can manage both then you can concentrate on having a fantastic time out in the fields doing exactly what you love. Ask lots of questions, try on the gear and make a rational decision based on the facts and not what looks good. Looks alone aren’t going to get the job done.
