My local lakes are still open until the end of November, and it seems that trout haven’t slowed down their activities too significantly – they are still looking for daddies on the surface.

The Yellow Foam Daddy is a great pattern to fish when daddies are present. Fish one or two on the same cast and cover rising fish, leave it static and wait for the take. If that fails, skim it across the surface to attract the fish
