With the heavy rain in November, the water can get rather murky. But a few dry days will see the clarity return, and it’s still possible to take fish off the surface. Even if the water is murky, fish can sit tight and ambush the fly when it comes into view. This unusuallooking fly with its highly mobile legs is a good alternative to imitative patterns like Daddies when they fail to get any response, and is also ideal to use as a stalking bug on small stillwaters.
