SPACE BADGE FOR BROWNIES

Brownie Guides will now be able to work towards a new Space Badge. To achieve the badge, Brownies will face challenges such as identifying constellations, safely recording sunspots and creating their own astronaut training programme.

“The UK Space Agency is delighted to be working with Girlguiding on this exciting new badge, which will introduce young girls to the wonders of space,” says Alice Bunn, international director at the UK Space Agency.
