This evening presents an op­por­tu­nity to see the clair-ob­scur ef­fect known as Cassini’s Moon Maiden. The Maiden is formed within the head­land at the south­ern edge of Si­nus Iridum, a fea­ture known as Promon­to­rium Her­a­clides.
