Altair and Vega

“In this photo you can see the stars Altair and Vega and the Milky Way above the Castle of

Noudar in Portugal.

The castle is practically abandoned and many kilometres from the nearest lights, which makes for a very dark sky. I had to wait several hours for the Milky Way to be right in the

centre of the image.”
