Romans offers printing help for children home schooling
BURNHAM AND WINDSOR: Romans estate agents is offering to print or scan documents in its offices to support parents with children learning from home.
Even in the digital age children may not have access to such equipment in their houses – especially as there remains inequality between families in terms of ability to afford technology for home schooling.
Will Baggs, manager of the Burnham branch said: “I have children of my own so I understand it’s not easy at the moment.
“As I’m here I can print out what we need for the next day – so I can help people out by doing a few bits for others. Anything we can do to help.”
The offer is available at all 28 branches of Romans, including the office in Maidenhead.
Romans wishes to stress that it does not encourage anyone to travel long distances in order to make use of its service – and asks that residents only come to Romans if there is a branch close by.
