New year, new job? Thames Hospice is recruiting now for a range of roles
Thames Hospice is a local charity with ambition and is looking for dynamic people like you to join its friendly teams in a variety of exciting roles!
Proudly serving our community for more than 30 years, we are a leading UK hospice providing inpatient and community palliative and end-oflife care services to people aged 16 and over across Berkshire and South Bucks.
Our 28-bed state-of-the-art facility is set in eight stunning acres by beautiful Bray Lake in Maidenhead.
Our thriving charity shops across the Thames Valley and our fantastic fundraising teams provide vital income to support the work of the hospice.
We are ambitious to deliver the best palliative and end-oflife care possible for our patients and their families.
To do this we need nurses, fundraisers and retail professionals so that we can continue to provide compassionate care and support to our community for generations to come.
We are an organisation that puts our patients and their loved ones at the heart of everything we do, and we also care about each other. We always strive for the best and that’s why the Care Quality Commission awarded us an ‘Outstanding’ rating in 2021.
We also know, through regular staff feedback, that our people love working here; 91 per cent of our colleagues feel like they make a difference and 94 per cent state they are proud to work for the charity.
People who work for the hospice say the best things are ‘the supportive, friendly and kind people’ and ‘being part of a community’.
We offer a wide range of rewarding roles, from nursing to retail, at competitive rates with an emphasis on support and progression through training and professional development.
Alongside a fantastic working environment, we are proud to offer competitive employee benefits designed to care for you financially, support you with your family and your wellbeing.
