Absolutely Fitness unveils major renovation at Langley College gym
Absolutely Fitness prides itself on providing top-of-the-line facilities and equipment to support the health and wellness goals of its members.
That’s why the fitness centre, in partnership with Windsor Forest Colleges Group, recently completed a major £100,000 renovation at its gym located on the Langley College campus.
The complete overhaul means the gym now provides the local community with state-of-the-art equipment and amenities.
The Mayor of Slough visited the refurbished Langley College gym on January 8 to officially cut the ribbon and receive a tour of the new facilities and equipment.
He stated that it is great to see that we are working with the college to benefit the local community and recognises the efforts that Absolutely Together makes as a charity which is great to see within the Slough community.
Members will appreciate the brand new cardio machines featuring curved treadmills for varied workouts, and a low-impact stair climber.
In the strength area, plate loaded machines, such as a leg press and hack squat, target lower body muscles, while dumbbells and cable machines enable customised routines.
Bumper plates have also been added for Olympic weightlifting.
“We’re thrilled to unveil these upgrades, which are available to all members of the public to use. The investment will also enhance the student experience and support wellness initiatives within Langley College,” said Julian John, fitness operations manager at Absolutely Fitness.
The renovation was a collaborative effort between Absolutely Fitness and Windsor Forest Colleges Group.
“Our goal is to foster health and wellness for all,” added John.
Absolutely Fitness’ profits support Absolutely Together, a charity which provides programmes and activities for families that have children with additional needs. Programmes will now be offered directly in the gym.
