Data centre plan and horse show closures

-

Plans for a data centre in Iver and road closures ahead of Windsor Horse Show are in the public notices this week.

Planning

An outline planning application by Greystoke Land is seeking permission for a data centre development in Iver.

The plans consist of the redevelopment of the Woodlands Park Landfill Site to comprise a 72,000 sqm data centre across two buildings and the creation of parkland.

The data centre buildings will include ancillary offices, internal plant and equipment, emergency backup generators and associated fuel storage. The development may also include cycle and car parking.

The proposed West

London Technology Park will be located on land to the south of Slough Road.

The application site is located on the east side of the M25 motorway between junction 16 of the M40 to the north and junction 15 of the M4 to the south.

Eton College has proposed the residential redevelopment of Court Farm on Common Road in Dorney.

The plans, submitted by Savills, propose the demolition and conversion of four barns and the construction of nine residential homes including landscaping, bin and cycle stores, car parking and infrastructure.

Traffic and road closures

The Royal Borough has issued several traffic regulations ahead of the Windsor Horse Show next month.

The notice prohibits vehicles, except for coaches, from making a right turn onto the B470 King Edward VII Avenue from any gateway off the Home Park.

No vehicle will be allowed to make a left turn onto the B470 King Edward VII Avenue from any gateway from the King Edward VII Avenue Car Park.

Footpath No. 9A will be closed for its entire length from 12.01am on Monday, April 29 until 11.59pm on Monday, May 6.

The Royal Borough is also updating two existing school Keep Clear restrictions with the intention of providing camera enforcement at the sites.

No vehicles will be permitted to stop outside Wraysbury Primary School between 8am and 9.30am and 2.30pm and 4pm from Monday to Friday.

Both sides of Welley Road in Wraysbury will be subject to this prohibition:

■ From 3 metres north of the vehicular ‘Staff Only’ entrance to Wraysbury Primary School, northwards for 31.5 metres.

No vehicles will be allowed along part of Clewer Fields in Windsor next week.

The road closure is to facilitate the installation of a new fibre optic duct.

Clewer Fields from its junction with Alma Road to the rear of No 14 Bexley Street will be closed to traffic between 9am and 3pm from Tuesday, April 16 until Monday, April 22.

Similarly, no vehicles will be allowed to proceed on part of Springfield Road next week to facilitate roadworks.

Springfield Road from its junction with Hatton Court westbound to eastern boundary of No 16 Springfield Road will be closed to traffic on Tuesday, April 16.

The diversion route for vehicles affected by these works is via Springfield Road, A308 Alma Road, A308 Goslar Way, B3173 Imperial Road and Springfield Road.

The road closure will be in operation between 8am and 6pm.

Slough Borough Council has also issued a road closure next month to facilitate roadworks.
