Temporary road closures, no right-turns and waiting restrictions on certain roads across Slough and Windsor appear in this week’s public notices.

In Windsor, the Royal Borough will be closing roads for the Windsor Triathlon.

Motorists will unable to travel on some roads between 5am and 9.15am on Sunday, June 9.

These include:

■ Barry Avenue from the railway viaduct to its junction with Vansittart Road

■ The entirety of Stovell Road

■ Vanisttart Road at its junction with Stovell Road

■ The entire length of Clewer Court Road

■ Stephenson Drive at its junction with Clewer Court Road

■ Mill Lane between its junctions with A308 Maidenhead Road and Clewer Court Road.

The order also states drivers will not be able to use part of the A332 Kings Road roundabout between 5am and 10.30am on Sunday, June 9. Between 5am and 12pm on the same day, Goswell Road, River Street, Thames Street, Thames Avenue, Park Street, and the B3022 High Street will be closed entirely.

Barry Avenue will be shut from its junction with River Street to the railway viaduct, and the B470 Datchet Road will be closed between its junctions with Thames Street and Farm Yard.

The B3022 Sheet Street will close between its junctions with Victoria Street and the High Street, Arthur Road will shut between its junctions with Alma Road and Charles Street and Charles Street will be closed northbound for its entire length.

Motorists will temporarily not be allowed to turn right between 5am and 10.45am on the day.

This includes Clarence Road westbound at its junction with Charles Street, Charles Street southbound at its junction with Clarence Road, Alma Road southbound at its junction with Arthur Road and Alma Road northbound at its junction with Arthur Road.

Elsewhere, there will also be temporary road closures in place from 2pm to 3pm on Saturday, June 8 for the Old Windsor Carnival.

In Slough, the council is looking to create a new BSI parking zone in selected areas of the carriageway covering part of Frank Sutton Way, all of Carlisle Road, Godolphin Road, Lake Avenue, Redwood Gardens, Woodland Avenue and part of Whitby Road.

The proposed order would create resident and shared use parking places and waiting restrictions in force on all days and at all times on these roads, with limited waiting in the shared use parking places operating from 8am to 7pm Monday to Sunday inclusive.
