Is Amelia leaving for good?
Amelia plots To leave The village with her former captor, Beth…
Story So far
Schoolgirl Amelia Spencer seems to have had a personality transplant in the last few months. And it’s definitely for the worse…
After her recent life traumas, though, it’s not a surprise. The once sweetnatured girl lost her mum, Ali Spencer, in a car accident and she found out her dad, Dan Spencer, isn’t her biological father. Then she was groomed into trusting vengeful teen Beth…
Beth tricked Amelia into running away from her family, convincing her they didn’t care about her. All Beth wanted was to blackmail Amelia’s biological dad, Daz Spencer, but Amelia thought she was her friend. When Beth was arrested for keeping Amelia from her family, Amelia was left distraught. ‘I miss her and there’s no one here that I can really talk to,’ she told vicar Harriet Finch.
Since returning home, Amelia has been pretty deceitful with dad Dan, step-mum Kerry Wyatt and family friend Harriet.
Although sullen at first, Amelia put on a happy act to hide that she was trying to contact Beth. Despite a rejection, Amelia is determined not to give up on her ‘friend’, not understanding how troubled Beth really is.
‘Amelia buys herself and Beth bus tickets to run away to Scotland,’ reveals our Emmerdale source. ‘But will Beth make Amelia see sense?’
Although Beth’s plot to gain Amelia’s trust was truly twisted, she’s the product of a tough childhood. Is Beth more reliant on Amelia than she’s admitting?
If she wants Amelia to herself, Beth could agree to her plan and Dan may lose his daughter for good. But if Beth does the right thing, we know Kerry has a big heart for troubled souls.
Could she persuade Dan to take her in?
Amelia wants to run away to Scotland... Will Beth be persuaded to join her?
