THE so­ci­ety will be screen­ing The Best of Men on Satur­day, De­cem­ber 15 at St Martin’s School Arts Cen­tre, Brue­ton Av­enue, Soli­hull B91 3EN.

Star­ring Ed­die Marsan and Rob Bry­don, it is the up­lift­ing story of Dr Lud­wig Guttmann who es­caped from Hitler’s regime to help re­ha­bil­i­tate in­jured Bri­tish sol­diers which led to the foun­da­tion of the Par­a­lympic Games.

The film will start at 6.45pm and will be fol­lowed by a Christ­mas So­cial Event.

The so­ci­ety was founded in 1958 and in­vites new mem­bers and guests to at­tend their films.
