In­spired by a for­mer pupil at his school, 12-year-old Hec­tor Rees-Davies un­der­took an epic char­ity bike ride.

He raised £2,124.50 for the For­ever Friends ap­peal at the Royal United Hos­pi­tals in Bath by cy­cling 100 miles around the city in 12 hours. The Mill­field

Prep pupil was in­spired by for­mer Mill­field and Bath rugby player Ed Jack­son, who is help­ing re­ha­bil­i­ta­tion char­i­ties af­ter suf­fer­ing from a se­vere spinal in­jury last year. Hec­tor ini­tially got the fundrais­ing bug af­ter wash­ing cars and sav­ing money for a rugby tour with the school.
