Beer botan­i­cal

The first UK gin to use a dis­til­late of beer as a botan­i­cal has been pro­duced in Som­er­set.

Wicked Wolf Gin joined forces with Ex­moor Ales to create the Ex­moor Gold Gin, a lim­ited edi­tion 42% gin. Pat Pa­tel from Wicked Wolf says: “We take Ex­moor Gold and dou­ble dis­til this to create a dis­til­late which is ba­si­cally a smooth beer schnapps; we then use this as a botan­i­cal dis­til­late when blend­ing the gin.”
