THEATRE Mandela Trilogy

The life of the iconic Nelson Mandela is brought to the stage by Cape Town Opera, in a three-part performanc­e featuring a cast of more than 50 performers. You’ll hear upbeat jazz and the swing-influenced songs of Sophiatown as well as musical styles more typical of contempora­ry oratorio and opera, together with a sprinkling of authentic Xhosa folk music.
