Search is on for our next Pet Idol
THE South Wales Echo’s Pet Idol competition in association with Heath Vets is back!
We’re on the hunt for the cutest pictures of your fabulous companions, so dust off those cameras and get snapping today.
All pets are welcome to enter, from rats, cats, parrots, puppies... and dare we say it, even tarantulas.
Each pet that is entered into the contest will feature in our Pet Idol picture pullout in the South Wales Echo on Wednesday, August 23.
From there you will have the opportunity to vote for the pet that you think is the cutest via phone, text or collecting special coupons printed in the paper.
The winner of the competition will not only win the coveted title of the South Wales Echo’s Pet Idol 2017, but will also win a year’s worth of pet food courtesy of Heath Vets in Cardiff.
Jess Eliss, marketing manager at Heath Vets, said: “We are thrilled to be supporting this competition for the second time, and hope it will be an even greater success than last year.
“Once again, we at Heath Vets are all looking forward to seeing your wonderful photographs”.
Last year’s Pet Idol was “bilingual” Blodyn, a chocolate labrador who responds to commands both in English and Welsh. The talented pet received the most votes in the competition.
To enter, simply fill in the form available at www.walesonline.co.uk/ petidol17 and upload a picture of your pet before the closing date of August 8.
