Restaurant to offer free dish to celebrate World Pasta Day

-

THEY say there’s no such thing as a free lunch.

But, whoever says it is wrong because for one day this week, you can tuck into a bowl of tasty pasta in Cardiff for absolutely nothing.

That’s because Jamie’s Italian, found in the St David’s shopping centre near the Hayes, is giving away bowls of the Italian classic to celebrate World Pasta Day.

Jamie’s Italian is celebrating 10 years in Cardiff with their biggest pasta giveaway ever, offering bowls of Cacio e pepe to customers on Thursday, October 25.

As usual this iconic Italian dish will be made using their fresh homemade pasta and tossed with Pecorino cheese and seasoned with generous portions of cracked black pepper.

The Cardiff restaurant recently revealed that it’s going to have a makeover in the new year, just months after fears the celebrity chef would close a third of his Italianthemed venues.

But Cardiff was not named as one of the 12 restaurants affected and remained open.

It was also revealed that Jamie Oliver had to plough £13m of his own money into his restaurant chain after being told it would go bust.

So, how do claim your free pasta? The deal is taking place on Thursday, October 25 and will work on a first come, first serve basis.

There are 100 bowls of Cacio e pepe to be claimed and to get one, all you need to do is quote “World Pasta Day” when ordering.

This offer entitles each customer to one portion of special Cacio e pepe pasta when quoting “World Pasta Day”.

All other food and drink items will be charged at the usual price and it’s only valid on Cacio e pepe pasta.
