THROUGH THE CHRISTMAS KEYHOLE

-

ITV, 9pm

IF you had a drink for every filthy innuendo made by Keith Lemon in this show, you’d be pretty sozzled before the first ad break.

Needless to say, this is not for the prudish and will amuse only those with a ‘certain’ sense of humour.

In this sixth series, the TV personality rummages around the houses of three mystery celebrities, unearthing clues for the studio panel to guess: “Who habitates in a house like this?”

This time, Jonathan Ross, Lorraine Kelly and Jimmy Carr are on hand to crack the codes. Although it won’t take a genius to do so. As Keith begins, he’s joined by a mock paranoid camera crew, including Richard the ITV lawyer – on hand to vet those rude innuendos. But the ‘fun sponge’, as Keith calls him, will have a tough job on his hands.

HE’S starred in everything from Sherlock to Black Panther – via The Hobbit films – but while Martin Freeman clearly has no fear of acting in front of groups of people, it seems he is afraid of cooking for them. Luckily, Jamie Oliver and Jimmy Doherty are on hand to help him get over his kitchen-based stage fright as they show him how to make the perfect eggs royale.

Jamie also whips up fish and chips, using fresh mussels, clams and chunks of monkfish combined with garlic, chilli and curried butters, while Jimmy uses his DIY skills to make a Japanese teppanyaki for the garden.
