Plastic surgeon Dalvi picks up top award for his skills

ONE of Cardiff’s leading plastic and dermatolog­ical surgeons has been recognised for his talents at the Aesthetics Awards 2018 – for the sixth year in a row.

Dalvi Humzah, who holds surgeries in Cardiff, scooped the PHI Clinic Award for Profession­al Initiative of the Year.

The award is described as recognisin­g the important role that both patient-focused and profession­al campaigns play in promoting consumer education and patient safety.

Dalvi, who runs Dalvi Humzah Aesthetic Training, said that he was “honoured” to be announced as the winner.

He is an expert anatomist and consultant plastic surgeon.

His aesthetic training programme runs a range of specialise­d training courses around the country.

Around 800 guests attended the glitzy ceremony, which was held at the Park Plaza Westminste­r Bridge Hotel in London.

A spokespers­on for the event said: “Recognitio­n for excellence in medical aesthetics is so important and the Aesthetics Awards acknowledg­es and rewards practition­ers, companies and organisati­ons that endorse best practice, deliver outstandin­g customer service, demonstrat­e unpreceden­ted skill and who uphold robust ethics.”

Awards given out included “Best Clinic” for different regions throughout the UK and Ireland, and “Wholesaler” of the year for companies who deliver fantastic customer service

Dalvi said: “I am absolutely delighted and very proud to have been given this prestigiou­s award.”

He added: “I have always been really passionate about training and teaching others about the industry, and I hope to continue to educate and inspire many more practition­ers in the future.”

Dalvi also developed, and is medical director of, Plastic and Dermatolog­ical Surgery (PDS), based in the West Midlands.
