The Animal Wall – 1890
The wall was designed by William Burges in 1866 and originally included a hyena, wolf, baboons, seal, bear, lioness, lynx and two lions.
Loved by children and adults alike, it is a popular spot for a selfie.
After they were originally sculpted glass eyes and paint were added to make them seem even more lifelike.
The paint quickly peeled off but the eyes remain to this day. the Roald Dahl centenary celebrations in 2016, and even accommodated a giant rugby ball and giant dragon to mark the 2015 Rugby
World Cup and 2017 Champions League final respectively.
