Demolition work starts to remove the Severn Bridge toll booths

A great day for Wales. At least the effect on the Brynglas tunnel queues will compel the numpties in WG to do something about the throttling of the South Wales economy.

Great news for Wales. Bring on those extra-long delays at the Bryn Glas tunnels! It’s a start, hopefully they will sort out the M4 problem early next century along with the TfW trains debacle. But it will no doubt still be Mrs Thatcher’s fault!

Cannot understand why they just don’t close one bridge and divert the traffic to the other then remove the booths in one operation. Instead of all the disruption they propose. Just saying.
