■ ■Tai Chi/Qigong classes for 2019 are starting in Cardiff next week. Beijing 24 Step Form is on Tuesday, January 15, at St Mary’s Social Hall, Talbot Street, Canton. From 6.30pm to 7.45pm. On Wednesday, January 16, Health Qigong will take place at The Hyb in Llandaff North, 2pm-3pm.

■ ■Parkinson’s Café CF3 is on Tuesday, January 15, 11am-12.30pm, at St Mellons HYB, Crickhowel­l Road, St Mellons, Cardiff CF3 0EX. People affected by Parkinson’s, their family, carers and friends are welcome. Local contact Roger Harrison (07719 669458).

■ ■The pupils of St John Lloyd RC Primary School, along with pupils from Trowbridge Primary School, Pen Y Pil Primary School and St Illtyd’s Catholic High School are holding the Trowbridge Community Lantern Parade on Friday, January 25. People are invited to St John Lloyd school hall at 4pm for hot dogs and a samba drumming display followed by the parade at 5pm. The parade will move along Cemaes Crescent and then around Cemaes Community Park. The school address is Brynbala Way, Trowbridge, Cardiff, CF3 1SA. Organisers are grateful to the Big Lottery Fund for funding this project and would also like to thank National Lottery players for their support.

■ ■Llanishen Healthy Hearts is a heart support group, establishe­d for 20 years and BHF registered. If you have had a heart event this could be for you.
