■■This month’s fundraisin­g coffee morning in St Paul’s Community Hall, Paget Street, Grangetown, Cardiff, will be held tomorrow, October 26, starting at 10.30am. It is in aid of the Shine a Light Walk for Cancer Research. A variety of cakes will be on sale as well as coffee, tea and soft drinks. Thanking all in the past who have supported these mornings. Free entry, all welcome.

■■An art and craft fair (with a hint of Christmas) is to be held tomorrow, October 26, at Roath Church House, Waterloo Road, Roath CF23 5AD, from 2pm to 4pm. Original paintings, ceramics, jewellery and much more will be available for a unique present. Tea and cakes available. Entry is free.

■■A half-term craft fair takes place at the Norwegian Church arts centre in Cardif Bay, from Tuesday, October 29 until Sunday, November 3. A chance to browse and buy hand-crafted products made in Wales. A collaborat­ion of artists, artisans, crafters and photograph­ers. Craft activities available for children priced £3-£6.

■■A weekly archaeolog­y class is held in Llantwit Major Town Hall. Starts 10.30am and covers a huge range of topics. An enthusiast­ic group of all ages and different background­s. If interested in attending please telephone: 07437 747402 or email: archaeolog­ycymru@live.co.uk

■■High Tea Bingo takes place every second Tuesday of the month (except August) and it’s open to everyone who wants a bit of fun and good company. Entry is £5 and includes tea/coffee and cakes. There are five games, with a chance to win £1 for a line and £5 for a house. In addition there is a raffle with prizes. It is held in St Mary’s Church Hall, Church Road, Whitchurch, Cardiff – 2pm for eyes down at 2.30pm.

■■The Open Door Club for senior citizens is held at Christ the King Parish Centre, Newborough Avenue, Llanishen, Cardiff, every third Thursday of the month, 2pm-4pm. Free tea/coffee and biscuits, fellowship, conversati­on, raffle and entertainm­ent.
