Pub to stage online concerts to help Noah’s Ark charity

-

A CARDIFF pub is organising weekly online concerts to raise funds for local charity and children’s hospital, Noah’s Ark.

The Rummer Tavern, will be performing and streaming live gigs, which can be watched via its Facebook page.

They hope to provide the local community with musical entertainment and give them the opportunity to donate money to the local children’s hospital.

Aaron Sullivan-Bisset, operator at the Rummer Tavern, will be performing the gigs every Sunday.

It comes after the Government requested the closure of all pubs, with the exception of those offering takeaway services, clearly demonstrates the continued desire and passion of operators and publicans across the country to act as a hub for their communities.

The Rummer Tavern, which is part of the Craft Union Pub Company, has been raising money for the local children’s hospital for a number of years and is continuing its support during this time, serving at the heart of the local community.

Aaron said: “At the Rummer Tavern, we really want to support people in the community and help everyone get through this challenging time.

“We have been raising funds for Noah’s Ark for a few years and we believe that it’s important that we continue this support during these challenging times.

“Our role in the community is to both serve a drink and be here to help when needed and these concerts are a fantastic way to bring members of the community together to help local health services.

“Please do tune in to enjoy some live music, communicate with the community and help raise some money for a great cause.”

The gigs will start from this Sunday. Aaron will be performing concerts every Sunday at 7pm with the aim to increase the amount of donations received each week.
