LUXURY WELSH RETREAT PREPARES TO WELCOME BACK HOLIDAYMAKERS

-

A LUXURY holiday retreat and spa will be opening its doors in Wales when the lockdown is lifted.

And as they put all the finishing touches to the premises, the team has also had to consider all the new safety measures that are needed to keep guests and staff safe following the coronavirus pandemic.

As soon as it’s safe to do so, Luxury Lodges will be welcoming guests to the Dylan Coastal Resort and Milk Wood House Spa in Laugharne.

The development is made up of 125 lodges as well as a £7m spa featuring a mineral infinity pool with sea views, an elevated bar and restaurant with terraces, and an outside hydrotherapy pool and sauna.

Visitors can even take advantage of a fully-equipped fitness studio on site too.

Sharon Hurley, the founder of Luxury Lodges and who grew up in Wales, said: “The resort makes the perfect location for a UK staycation post-pandemic with a real focus on wellbeing across everything we have done here.

“We have created a real retreat and have introduced contactless check-in and put several other precautionary measures in place.”

The resort will open subject to Welsh Government guidelines regarding the pandemic, with additional health and hygiene measures in place.

As well as the contactless check-in system at Luxury Lodges for the first guests at the Carmarthenshire resort, they will receive a text ahead of their stay with an entry code for their lodge’s key box, allowing them to go straight into their accommodation on arrival.

All guests will have to complete a digital medical questionnaire ahead of their stay to ensure that they don’t have any coronavirus symptoms.
