and that’s something I really relate to – she’s not afraid of making mistakes,” notes Tanya, who first got into acting when studying at Delhi University.

Ishaan, 25, from Mumbai , plays Maan Kapoor, who is connected to Lata through their siblings’ marriage.

A wayward yet charming young man, whose father is a politician, he wants to squeeze every drop of excitement from life and has little sense of responsibility.

Monday, BBC1, 8.30pm

FIFTEEN years ago, 18-year-old college student Anthony Walker was killed by two white men in an unprovoked racist attack in a Liverpool park.

This feature-length drama, from TV writing legend Jimmy McGovern, imagines what life may have held for Anthony if the teenager had not been killed.

Toheeb Jimoh, Julia Brown and Rakie Ayola head the impressive cast.

JOANNA LUMLEY’S UNSEEN ADVENTURES Tuesday, ITV, 9pm

GIVEN the amount of glorious footage that has to be cut from celeb travel shows for timing reasons, it’s no wonder TV bosses are keen to re-package them in shows such as this. When it comes to stars on their (working) hols, few folks do a better job than Joanna Lumley. The series kicks off with a look at her journey from Japan to Siberia, beginning on the frozen Japanese sea of Okhotsk. She also travels across China and Mongolia before arriving at Lake Baikal in Siberia, where the Ab Fab star meets some amazing seals.
