SIR Michael Palin is part of the National Gallery’s new season of online talks.
He will join French novelist and novelist biographer
Alexandra Lapierre on October 23 to look at the astonishing life of 17th-century painter Artemisia Gentileschi.
The Monty Python star made BBC documentary Michael Palin’s Quest for Artemisia in 2015, and it will also be available to see following the talk.

RORY SIGNS UP FOR STRATFORD
RORY Bremner, twice-Booker prize winner Dame Hilary Mantel and Andrew Marr are among those taking part in the Stratford Literary
Festival Winter Weekend line-up.
The event runs from November 22 and will be filmed for livestreaming so audiences can watch from home.
Impressionist Rory will be explaining his craft and talking about coping in lockdown, while actor Duncan Preston will be remembering Victoria Wood with her biographer Jasper Ree. The weekend line-up also includes Charles Spencer, poets Roger McGough and Lemn Sissay and Horrible Histories illustrator Martin Brown.
