A big thank you to all who have helped us...
Apologies to anyone I might have overlooked

AS WE are no longer having clap-outs, and the pandemic is still with us, I wish to show my thanks, and appreciation, to the following:
■ It goes without saying, all medical teams and hosp ita l employees.
■ GP surgeries, nursing and care homes and clinics.
■ All our emergency services, including, lifeboat, coastguard and air ambulance crews.
■ Our pharmacists, dentists, opticians, podiatrists and vets.
■ Our farmers, and food processing plants, there is no let-up for them either, also truck and van drivers who are delivering our food and other necessities.
■ The clergy and funeral services.
■ Teachers at every level.
■ The military.
■ The milkman, postman, window cleaners.
■ Refuse collectors, without them we would be in a heck of a smelly, mucky mess.
■ Our politicians, regardless of party, whether local or central, they have a heck of weight on their shoulders.
■ The utility companies and engineers.
■ Large stores, and small family shops, and their staff.
■ All those involved running the railways, coach, bus, air and taxi services.
■ The media, TV, radio, newspapers and magazines, who have kept me entertained and informed.
■ Our banks and building societies.
■ All charities, too many to mention, and their volunteers.
■ Animal rescue centres.
■ When they are allowed to open, libraries, hybs and museums.
■ Hairdressers and beauty salons to boost our morale.
■ Our theatres and cinemas that are unable to open, but hopefully will one day.
■ Hotels, pubs, restaurants, diners, where we can eat in or get a take away, or have one delivered.
■ Builders who are out in all winds and weathers.
■ Fisherman facing stormy rough seas.
■ Scientists, virologists, researchers around the world who are working hard to establish a vaccine for this little monster Covid-19. My apologies to anyone I might have overlooked.
