WEBCHAT First Minister Mark Drakeford refuses to rule out another lockdown in Wales

- Craig Mattocks Philip Ian Harvey

Just say ‘No’ It has got to the point where surely you can see there is no other way out? How many times does something else have to crop up for you to be worried that the freedoms you willingly gave away will never be returned. Not without a fight. It is getting more sinister by the day and still people are acting like they have no control. We are not helpless, we just have to be united which is why they have been dividing us since the start. Rachel Pritchard

Why? The vulnerable have been vaccined. Hospitalisations rising is what matters, not cases rising. Let’s not forget this virus may be dangerous but it’s not a deadly nerve agent. A massive majority of people who’ve caught it are perfectly fine. They tell us the vaccines are the way out and since they’ve been coming out they’ve just backtracked and changed the story to keep all this power they have.

Mark Drakeford stated when we all agreed to comply with the lockdowns, he would follow his rules based on the science. Yet it is very clear that he is not complying with his own rules, based on current infection rates we should be at level 2, quite possibly level 1. So why should me trust him? Martin Evans

How will any of the pubs & hospitality businesses in Wales survive? It’s time to let the population consider the risk to us & our loved ones. If you are vulnerable then continue to isolate but for goodness sake... give Wales a chance.

Hopefully as Wales is doing well on vaccinations we won’t get a third wave and will not be put into another lockdown. Geraint Harris

What more does he want, we’ve protected the NHS, flattened the curve, half the population is vaccinated, c’mon you clown let go of the power and think of the young for a change, open the gyms and pubs and let us enjoy, if anyone is still worried then stay indoors ...

This is a man who has got too used to his “lockdown powers”.
