PLANT OF THE WEEK
CORYLOPSIS PAUCIFLORA
Buttercup witch hazel is a delightful early bloomer that brings soft yellow, sweetly scented blossoms on bare stems during March and April. It’s a deciduous shrub that won’t grow too big and doesn’t require pruning.
It prefers an acidic soil if possible in a partially shaded position and doesn’t like to dry out. In autumn, the hazel leaves turn yellow offering some additional seasonal interest.
